About Autips Local

Autips Local is an independent Australian city guide for practical local decisions: where to go, what is on, which suburbs are worth checking, and what source link to verify before making a plan.

What Autips covers

The live guides currently focus on Melbourne, Greater Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, and Warrnambool. Each city combines official or reviewed event links, useful local places, neighbourhood or suburb notes, independent local businesses, guide articles, and available planning context such as weather or delayed petrol price snapshots where those feeds are configured.

How the information is built

Autips starts from public local sources such as council pages, venue pages, event calendars, official visitor information, and business websites. The source link is kept visible so readers can check opening times, tickets, event changes, and notices at the source before relying on a detail.

The site adds original planning context instead of copying source pages. The useful part should be the local judgement: how a place fits into a day, what to verify, and how a reader can decide between nearby options.

Corrections and removals

Local information changes. If a listing is wrong, outdated, duplicated, missing a better source, or should be removed, send the page URL and the correction to [email protected].

Independence

Autips does not sell ranking in local lists. Advertising, when enabled, is separated from editorial choices and labelled as advertising.
